Manara Posters featured on Mashallah News
Amer Amin is a Palestinian graphic designer based in Ramallah. In 2010, he founded Manara Design Studio. Manara means lighthouse and their works range from visual identity to web design, illustration or photography.
This Sunday, Mashallah News publishes a new series of Amer’s posters focusing on Palestine. Amer: “The first one is the red rooster on a white background: Es7a or Wake up. The second, with torn olive trees and blue background, is called Hal Araak fi Olaak, a phrase from the Arab national anthem Mawteni, which can be translated as: ‘Will I ever see my country in a good shape?’ The third one is the Arabic remake of the famous poster Bang Bang, but with a water gun instead of the revolver. The last poster is dedicated to the city of Jaffa. Wajh al Butuqaal Shams Yafa or The face of the orange is the sun for Jaffa.”
